From May 15-17, international public transport professionals, decision-makers, and industry suppliers will come together in Montreal for the Global Public Transport Summit “LEAD the TRANSITion”. The 62nd edition of the UITP Summit is the flagship event for the public transport community, gathering over 2,400 participants from around 80 countries. All 2017 UAB Grant Program Applicants Are Winners

Drum Roll Please It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of this year’s annual United Against Bullying Grant Program. We received 121 applications, many of which were creative, well-planned, and ambitious. All of the proposals had the students’ safety and well-being clearly defined as a priority. Video Surveillance Helps High Prairie Resolve Incidents Faster

High Prairie School Division No. 48 transports 2,100 students per day for 16 schools. Located in High Prairie, AB, the school division supports a diverse population of 23,000 people with rich cultures and backgrounds. Every day the division’s buses travel over 8,900 km to bring students to their schools from various locations. To ensure student safety on the road and at the bus stop, High Prairie decided to invest in video surveillance systems with wireless video downloading and stop arm cameras. (more…)
